ER is it for this mom
February 20, 2007
I have been a true ER fan from the beginning. This has always been the one show that this mom plans around; making sure that all the kids are in bed on time, chores are done, etc. ER has been my escape. My chance to get totally involved in something other than the routines of running a home and raising a family. I miss the many characters that have left the show. But the new characters add new blood and stories to the show and keep it going in new directions. I hope that the show keeps going. I will be lost without it.

What's up with the new "music"?
January 20, 2007
Who's the 'genius' that thought it would be a good idea to change the ER theme music? I've been watching ER and listening to that music since the very beginning... that music is not only the show's signature... it's one of the signature pieces in all of television history! Every time we listened to that theme, it evoked powerful memories of all the beloved ER characters who have come and gone over the years. Changing it is an unforgivable betrayal and a major screw up, tantamount to changing the theme music on Bonanza or Mission Impossible!! Quit screwing around and bring back the ER theme that we all know and love... NOW!!

One of my few favorite TV shows
September 26, 2008
I was saddened to see that Mekhi's Dr Pratt was the one who died on the show. He was one of the best actors on ER, and easy to relate to. I cried watching this episode. The terrifying and shocked look in his eyes as well as the tears streaming down his cheeks was so palpable. His sensitivity and humor will be sorely missed.
Sorry to hear this will be the last season of one of the best TV shows.

season opener
September 26, 2008
So, I watched ER last season premier. Oh my god. Talk about a heart wretcher. By the time it ended I was crying like a baby. I almost used up a whole box of kleenex. How could they kill off one of the main characters in one night? He was going to get the top head guy position. And Neela how could you sleep with that sleeze of a doctor? Overall it was a great episode.
